Glutathione complex (Eumetabol®)
Glutathione, vitamin C, B vitamins, amino acids
Glutathione as S-acetyl glutathione, combined with vitamin C, B vitamins and amino acids. The infusion may be considered, e.g., for long-lasting exhaustion after a viral infection, once other causes have been ruled out by a doctor. The preparation comes in three variants: Fatigue, Detox and Immun. Usually four infusions are given one week apart; a session including rest takes about 1 to 2 hours.

A water-soluble vitamin involved in immune defence, the formation of connective tissue and the absorption of iron. As an antioxidant it protects cells from oxidative stress. Given intravenously, it reaches higher blood levels than tablets.
The B vitamins (e.g. B1, B2, B6) are involved in energy metabolism and nerve function. Needs may be higher, for example, during demanding periods or with an unbalanced diet.
Important for blood formation and the nervous system. A deficiency can occur, for example, with a plant-based diet, with stomach or bowel conditions or due to certain medicines. We check your level in the lab beforehand.
Iron is part of the red blood pigment and is needed to transport oxygen around the body. An infusion may be an option for an iron deficiency without anaemia confirmed by blood tests, especially if tablets are not tolerated or not sufficient. We do not offer iron infusions for iron-deficiency anaemia.
A mineral needed for muscle and nerve function and for many enzymes. A deficiency can show up, for example, as muscle cramps.

An essential amino acid that the body cannot produce itself. It is involved in building collagen and antibodies.
Amino acids that work together in the urea cycle of the liver. Arginine is also the starting material for nitric oxide, which regulates the width of the blood vessels.
Biotin (vitamin B7) and the trace element zinc are involved in building skin, hair and nails.

Infusions are generally self-pay services (IGeL). The medical consultation, examination and any blood tests are charged separately according to the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ). You will receive a written cost overview before treatment starts.
You are welcome to read and fill in our information and consent form in advance. It will be signed together with us after the consultation in the practice. The form is available in German.

That depends on the goal and on your blood values. A series of several infusions one to two weeks apart is often recommended.
Infusions are generally well tolerated. A small bruise may appear at the injection site. Circulatory reactions or intolerances are rare. That is why you remain under the supervision of our team during the infusion.
Caution is needed with certain pre-existing conditions, e.g. of the heart or kidneys, and during pregnancy and breastfeeding. We clarify this in the preliminary consultation.
The benefit is well proven for a confirmed deficiency, e.g. of iron or vitamin B12. For other uses, the scientific evidence is limited. We will give you honest advice on whether an infusion makes sense in your case.
